UNIQA Czech PGA Austerlitz & Golf Trophy for Stanislav Matuš
Summer weather faced 60 players at UNIQA Czech PGA Austerlitz & Golf Trophy 2015 Tournament. With excellent score 67 the winner was Czech Stanislav Matuš. Yesterday's leader Filip Mrůzek lost hist position with two bogeys at 14th and 15th hole. Thanks to mobile leaderboard Filip Mrůzek had information. He knew he needed birdie at 18th hole to proceed to play-off but he drove too right to rough and from this tough position he did not score. Winner Stanislav Matuš commented today's game: "My today's score was the result of my preparation. I learned there are fast greens at Austerlitz. I could not practise that fast greens during the winter and that's why I came earlier here and played practise round as well as PRO-AM (and I won it). Yesterday I also played well but did not score. Today I started with birdie at 1st hole and after hole 5 I was minus 3 which gave me good mood. The most important moment was hole Nr. 15 where I played long strike from the hill and saved par. Forthcoming holes I also scored which brought the pressure for Filip Mrůzek" laughed sympathic player.
The "Round of the Day" brought local hero Tadeáš Sedláček (66). The best amateur was Martin Hromádka (T3)
Austerlitz's tournament was a part of Slovak / Moravian swing. Prize-money at Austerlitz were Eur 14.500,- Next tournament is held at Ostravice GC at June.
