Sokolov Trophy - Lieser Leads after Day 1

Excellent performance by Ondřej Lieser again! After his victory at Mstětice he leads even in Sokolov Trophy by CzechOne at Sokolov GC (www.golf-sokolov.cz). First round Lieser scored 65 (-7) and all the other competitors are at least 3 strokes behind.

Sokolov Golf Course showed its best face: no rain, no wind, lots of sun. These are not Lieser's most favoured conditions but he faced it well. Despite his score he gave only a short comment: "Classical back nine...". On back nine he made 6 birdies and it was the basis for his today's score. 2nd man of actual leaderboard, Vojtěch Dostál, commented a bit more: "Since Mstětice I am in a good shape and consistent golf. We had very pleasant flight (with Lieser and Kořínek), boys played well, I did not want to be ashamed. I made 18 greens on regulation, I only missed 3 two-metres putts. I am a bit nervous from tomorrow, there is rain forecasted what is fantastic for Lieser but not for me. We will fight and see..."

There are Aleš Kořínek, Filip Mrůzek and Tomáš Holoubek on T3 position. The best amateur is Tomáš Hlas T8 (E)
