Skalica' Tournament This Weekend

Skalica GC in Western Slovakia will see first tournament of Czech PGA Tour 2015 abroad. This would offer perfect occasion for Slovak golf fans to see all the best regional players in action.

HANT Trophy is a traditional event of Czech PGA Tour. The course is always in perfect condition. This year more than 60 players from Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Germany, Netherlands or UK will compete for an outstanding prize fund Eur 18,500.

Golf fans might see last year's winner Sven Maurits or Czech PGA Tour 2014 winner Martin Příhoda. Slovak fans also want to see ex athlete Roman Šebrle. Mr. Šebrle comments: "I look forward playing in Skalica. Last year only some mistakes kept me from better result. This year I wanna avoid these mistakes and attain a good position in ranking."

Skalica GC have also some improvements for golf fans this year: "Actually, this year Skalica offers footgolf (combination of golf and football) and for gourments we have brand new steakhouse here. We wish our visitors face some improvement everytime they come" added Lucia Školiaková - Chovancová, leader of promoting company.

Tournament begins on Saturday May 9th with PRO-AM. First day will be held on Sunday, after Monday's round there will be cut. The best 40 players will have their final round on Tuesday.

Another tournament (part of Slovak-Moravian swing) will be held on Austerlitz GC since Sunday May 17th.
