Petr Gál Jr. Leads in Ropice
Excellent performance specially in 1st nine brought Petr Gál Jr. into the top of Ropice Golf Trophy leaderboard. He scored 67 (-5).
More than 40 players faced hot weather in Northern Moravia at 7th tournament of Czech PGA Tour. The course was perfectly ready despite hot and dry summer.
Youn leader, Petr Gál Jr. of Kaskáda (Brno) commented: "There are importart mainly driver there in Ropice, because the Course is a bit short. I drove well today. I played well especiall first nine holes: 1st and 2nd were my scoring holes, as the 5pars. It is a good feeling to proceed to the second nine with -4 on your scorecard. There's clear aim for tomorrow - to keep myself on the top!"
Ondrej Lieser (-4) holds the 2nd place, British Chris Guy holds 3rd place (-3).
Actual Order of Merit leader, Stanislav Matuš, is missing in Ropice because of participation in Northern Ireland Challenge (he gain the card on Czech PGA Tour, as well as Marcos Pastor of Spain, winner of Spring/Gecko Swing).
Prize Money fund equals to 11.000,- eur.
