EXTEC Trophy 2018 by Atomic Drinks is to Start at Ypsilon GC

More than 140 golfers, including 13 Czechs, participate traditional May's event at Ypsilon Golf Club near Liberec, Czech Republic - EXTEC Trophy 2018 by Atomic Drinks of ProGolfTour series. Last year Czech Aleš Kořínek took 4th place here which brought him his first world ranking points.

Prize-money fund is Eur 30.000, players compete also for world ranking as well as 5 Challenge Tour cards for 2019. Tournament will finish on Sunday May 13th.

After two successful events is 2016 and 2017 promoter CzechOne made an agreement with PGA Germany for consecutive 5 years, always in the same term - 2nd week in May. There is one important condition - there will be no ProGolfTour event 7 days before the first day of Ypsilonka event which enables to organize qualifying event. This year the qualifyer was held under the name Oaza Distribuce II by Atomic Drinks. Winner was Aleš Kořínek who alse won the PRO-AM. The entrance for spectators is free and there will be TV cameras present.
