Czechs Represent on the South

In the south, both near and distant,  PGAC members represented these days. In Morocco third tournament of the PRO Golf Tour called Open Mogador was held. Marek Nový played the first day + 5, which gave him the opportunity to fight for of the cut. The next day, however, came up with a total of +14 and for passing the cut ( +8) it was not enough. Even after first half it looked promising ( total +7 ) but then three bogeys and one double - bogey at the other half meant the end of hopes for a good result. The overall winner of the tournament was German Marcel Schneider. Tournament with prize-money amounting Eur 30.000 was played at the Gary Player - designed course. In Morocco (Marrakech) will be two more tournaments of PRO Series Golf Tour held.

Ondrej Lieser goes on with the Gecko PRO Tour in Spain. So far he is ranked at 26th place, which is caused by the fact that before Christmas he played only one tournament out of ten and fully inserted into the tour after the New Year. Objective - to advance to the finals on March played at La Reserva is very real. The result of the first day +2 was marked by one eagle, five birdies and some bogeys. The default position (T19) for the second day was more than decent, although weather predictions reported worsening conditions. All players now have the shivers when they think of the second day of the last tournament at Finca Cortesin, where it rained maybe even from the bottom and average (! ) result was perhaps +7. The second day of the tournament  Ondra went up through the leaderboard to the final position T12 with a total score +3. It is interesting that on the same hole (No.2 ) played Ondrej the eagle both days. Two-day tournament with prize-money amounting Eur 10.000 was played on San Roque Course. The entire series Gecko PRO Tour faces a sharp increase in popularity this year, the majority of tournaments are full already 3-4 weeks before they take place and it is impossible to register anyone else.The organizers have solved last year's shortcomings (especially financial) and players from all over Europe are rewarding them with enormous interest. The series now moves on La Cañada Golf Course.
