CzechOne Tour 2017 Season Dominated by Ondrej Lieser
With a huge gap of 106.000 points (CZK) dominated 2017 CzechOne Tour Ondrej Lieser, 26-year-old PRO from Mstětice. What was his 2017 journey?
After winter preparation in Spain Ondrej entered Czech season in Zbraslav, during common event of RELMOST and CzechOne. First two days he gained Challenge Tour cards and won the event overall. He did not reach for European Tour card the last day.
In May there were traditional twin event held at Ypsilonka (ygolf.cz) - EXTEC tournament of CzechOne Tour and ProGolfTour event. Ondrej reached 2nd place in qualification tournament and 10th position in ProGolfTOur event. Only one Czech player (Aleš Kořínek) beated Ondrej (attaining 4th position which brought his first points for World Ranking).
Ondrej's best performances learned Mstětice / Sokolov. At Mstětice there were severe conditions, but at Sokolov Ondrej had to face nice, sunny weather. Despite he won both tournaments.
For the Finals Ondrej came as a unbeatable leader of CzechOne Tour's Order of Merit. During the Finals only 26 best profesionals were invited to play special PROAM event with amateurs. Lieser was beaten by Filip Mrůzek, but he looked happy enough to win the whole season.
